Candice & Jamon’s Intimate Wedding at Old Tower House
Candice and Jamon celebrated their wedding day surrounded by their closest family and loved ones at the beautiful Old Tower House in Perth. With an intimate guest list and a relaxed atmosphere, the day was all about spending meaningful time together and celebrating their marriage with the people who matter most.
As a photographer, I love how the venue creates such a warm and intimate setting for smaller weddings. The character of the historic house, beautiful gardens and relaxed surroundings provide plenty of opportunities for natural wedding photography while still allowing the focus to remain on the couple and their family.
An Intimate Family Wedding at Old Tower House
From the beginning of the day, Candice and Jamon’s wedding felt personal and heartfelt. Rather than a large traditional celebration, they chose to keep things intimate, surrounded by family and close friends.
The smaller setting allowed plenty of genuine moments throughout the day — from family interactions and quiet conversations to laughter and celebrations after the ceremony.
For intimate weddings like this, I focus on documenting the atmosphere as naturally as possible while also making sure the important family photographs and couple portraits are captured.
Couple Portraits at Harold Boas Gardens
After the celebration at Old Tower House, we headed to Harold Boas Gardens for the couple portraits.
The gardens provided a beautiful change of scenery, with greenery and open spaces creating a relaxed backdrop for Candice and Jamon’s portraits. It was a chance for the two of them to slow down, enjoy some time together and have photographs that felt romantic without being overly posed.
I like to keep couple portraits relaxed and give gentle direction when needed, allowing the couple’s personalities and connection to come through naturally.
