Aimee & Mitch’s wedding on 26 September 2026 was a beautiful celebration filled with genuine emotion, laughter and unforgettable moments. From their ceremony at Yarrabee Valley Estate to their bridal party portraits at Core Cider and their reception in Bedfordale, every part of their day had its own special atmosphere.
As a Perth wedding videographer, I love capturing weddings in a way that feels natural, emotional and authentic. Rather than simply recording what happens throughout the day, my goal is to create a wedding film that brings couples back to how their wedding actually felt — the excitement, the nerves, the laughter and the little moments they may not have noticed themselves.
A Beautiful Ceremony at Yarrabee Valley Estate
The day began at Yarrabee Valley Estate, surrounded by the beautiful landscape of the Perth Hills. The natural surroundings created a beautiful setting for Aimee & Mitch’s ceremony and provided plenty of opportunities to capture both the atmosphere and the emotions of the day.
From the anticipation before the ceremony to the moment Aimee & Mitch saw each other and exchanged their vows, these are the moments that make wedding videography so meaningful.
As a Yarrabee Valley Estate wedding videographer, capturing the surroundings is also an important part of telling the story. The landscape, venue details, guests arriving and small moments between the couple all become part of the final wedding film.
Wedding Portraits at Core Cider
After the ceremony, Aimee & Mitch headed to Core Cider with their bridal party for portraits.
This part of the day had a more relaxed and fun atmosphere, giving everyone a chance to enjoy themselves after the ceremony. Alongside the planned portraits, we captured plenty of natural interactions, laughter and candid moments between Aimee & Mitch and their bridal party.
For me, this is one of the most important parts of being a wedding videographer in Perth — allowing the couple and their bridal party to enjoy the moment while naturally documenting what happens around them.
The celebrations continued in Bedfordale, where Aimee & Mitch and their family and friends came together for their reception.
From heartfelt speeches and reactions from their guests to the laughter, dancing and celebrations throughout the evening, the reception provided so many genuine moments to capture.
These moments are often what make a wedding film feel personal. Years later, the couple can hear the voices of their family and friends, see their reactions and relive the atmosphere of the evening.
Natural & Cinematic Perth Wedding Videography
Every wedding is different, which is why I approach each wedding film with a focus on the couple and their story.
My style of Perth wedding videography is natural, candid and cinematic. I want the finished film to feel authentic rather than overly staged, while still creating beautiful cinematic images that tell the story of the day.
From quiet moments between the couple to the energy of the reception, I look for the moments that happen naturally and preserve them in a way that feels true to the wedding.
